ISM Discovery School: Recent advances in probability and combinatorics

June 8-12, 2026

This school will introduce participants to a variety of exciting topics at the interface of probability and combinatorics, on which there have been substantial recent advances. The topics to be covered include coarse graph theory; convergence of random trees; the Kahn-Kalai conjectures; recent advances in Ramsey theory; and subgraphs of random Cayley graphs. The lectures will all include open problems and potential research directions.
