Perspectives on bordered Heegaard Floer Theory

We are organizing a summer school focused on new developments in bordered Heegaard Floer theory and the consequences of these developments towards the so-called L-space conjecture. The school is paired with and will provide background for a 1½-day research conference.

The discovery school will be centred around three lecture courses that will be supplemented by additional research talks on the fourth and final day of the school. Jonathan Hanselman will give an introduction to the bordered Heegaard Floer homology for 3-manifolds with torus boundary. Andy Manion will give the second lecture course, which will focus on bordered theories for Khovanov homology. The third lecture course will be given by Jake Rasmussen on a topic that will be tailored to the other two courses so as to interpolate between the geometric ideas from the first lecture course and the more algebraic flavour of the second one.

For the most up-to-date information on the school and to register, please see the organizer’s website.
